Technogym Comfort: The Gel Difference
The number one complaint about exercise bikes is seat discomfort. Technogym solves this with their patented Gel Seat technology found on most Excite and Recline models.
We inspect every seat during refurbishment. If the upholstery is cracked or the gel has hardened, we replace the entire saddle with a new OEM Technogym part to ensure your comfort.
Bike FAQs
Do the bikes need to be plugged in?
Models with LED screens are typically self-powered (the pedals charge an internal battery). Models with Unity/Visio touchscreens DO need to be plugged into a standard 110v outlet.
Is the Recline bike better for back pain?
Yes. The Recline (recumbent) series places the user in a laid-back position with full spinal support, removing the compressive load on the lumbar spine that occurs on upright bikes.
Can I change the pedals on the Group Cycle?
Yes. Technogym Group Cycles use standard crank threads. You can swap the stock dual-sided pedals (SPD/Cage) for Look Delta or any other standard pedal system.
